Refund Policy

Last Updated: May 2026Auriksha Edge Pvt Ltd

This Refund Policy explains the refund and cancellation position for all gold and silver buying Transactions carried out by Auriksha Edge Pvt Ltd, operating as "Auriksha" ("we", "us", "our"), at C-11, Central Park, Doc's Colony, City Centre, Durgapur, West Bengal 713216. This policy must be read together with our Terms and Conditions, which you accept at the time of every Transaction.

No Refunds — All Sales Are Final

All purchases of gold and silver by Auriksha are FINAL and NON-REFUNDABLE. Once you accept the offered price, sign the Sale Agreement, and receive payment, ownership passes irrevocably to Auriksha and the metal is sent for melting and refining. Because the metal is melted, the original article no longer exists and cannot be recovered or returned. No refund, cancellation, reversal, re-purchase, or "change of mind" request can be entertained after a Transaction is concluded.

1. Why Gold Sales Cannot Be Refunded

Auriksha is a gold-buying business, not a pawn or storage service. The Gold we purchase is not held in its original form. After purchase:

  • Title to the Gold passes to Auriksha the moment payment is made and the Sale Agreement is signed;
  • The purchased Gold is sent for melting and refining, after which it ceases to exist as a distinct, identifiable article;
  • It is therefore physically impossible to return the same Gold to a Customer or to reverse the sale;
  • For these reasons, the sale is final and no refund is possible.

2. You Acknowledge Finality Before You Sell

Before any payment is made, the Customer is given a transparent valuation, shown the live market-linked rate and tested purity, and given the opportunity to accept or decline. By signing the Sale Agreement, the Customer confirms in writing that:

  • They have voluntarily agreed to the price and the sale;
  • They understand the sale is final and the Gold will be melted;
  • They are the lawful owner of the Gold and are entitled to sell it;
  • They will have no right to claim a refund, return, or reversal after the Transaction.
Signed Agreement Bars Later Claims

Because the Customer signs a Sale Agreement that expressly records the price, the lawful ownership declaration, the KYC verification, and the agreed no-refund terms, any later claim for refund or return of the Gold cannot be entertained. The signed documentation is the conclusive record of a free, informed, and consensual sale.

3. Auriksha Is a Gold Buyer Only — No Loans or Financial Services

Auriksha is a gold-buying company only. We purchase gold outright for cash and do not provide loans, financial assistance, or act on behalf of any bank, NBFC, or financial institution (see Clause 8 of our Terms and Conditions). Every Transaction is an outright, final, and non-refundable purchase of Gold that the Customer owns and is free to sell. References to "urgent cash for gold" or "instant cash" describe only the speed of our outright gold purchase, not any lending or financial service.

4. The Only Remedy in a Genuine Dispute

In the rare event of a genuine, good-faith dispute about a Transaction (for example, a dispute over the weight or purity recorded), the Customer's sole remedy is verification through the records Auriksha maintains:

  • Inspection of the relevant CCTV footage of the Transaction;
  • Inspection of the signed Sale Agreement, KYC record, and valuation/weighing record for the Transaction.

These records are retained for the period required by applicable law. A request for verification must be made in writing to our Grievance Officer (details below) within 7 days of the Transaction, quoting the transaction reference. This verification process does not create any right to a refund or to the return of the melted Gold; it exists only to confirm what actually took place during the Transaction.

5. Service Fees

Where any service fee or processing charge is expressly agreed in writing for a specific service (for example, a scheduled home-visit valuation), such fees are non-refundable once the service has commenced, save as expressly stated in the relevant written agreement.

6. Stolen or Illegal Gold

Nothing in this policy entitles a Customer who has supplied stolen, illegal, or unlawfully obtained Gold to any payment, refund, or return. Such matters are governed by Clause 4 of our Terms and Conditions and will be dealt with strictly in accordance with the law, with full cooperation extended to the police and statutory authorities.

7. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Durgapur / Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal.

Independent Legal Advice

This Refund Policy is provided for transparency. Auriksha is advised to have it, and its Sale Agreement and Release Agreement, reviewed by a qualified advocate to ensure enforceability and compliance with all applicable consumer and financial laws.
