1. About Auriksha

Auriksha Edge Private Limited ("Auriksha", "we", "us", "our") is a legally registered gold buying company based in Durgapur, West Bengal, India. We operate from our City Centre branch and offer home visit services across West Bengal. We buy all types of gold including old jewelry, coins, bullion bars, and pledged gold from banks and NBFCs.

2. Eligibility

To sell gold through Auriksha you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be the legal owner of the gold items you wish to sell
• Provide valid KYC documents — Aadhaar Card and one photo ID proof
• Confirm that the items being sold are not stolen, pledged to a third party without disclosure, or obtained through illegal means

Auriksha reserves the right to refuse any transaction where eligibility cannot be confirmed or where there is reasonable suspicion of fraud or illegal activity.

3. Gold Buying Process

The gold buying process at Auriksha involves the following steps:

• Purity Testing — your gold is tested using our advanced certified testing equipment at no cost to you. The test is non-destructive and conducted in your presence.
• Weighing — your gold is weighed on a calibrated digital scale in front of you.
• Price Quotation — your price is calculated using the live MCX market rate at the time of the transaction. The formula is: Weight (grams) × Purity% × Live MCX Rate.
• KYC Verification — required documents are collected and verified before payment is processed.
• Payment — payment is made via IMPS, RTGS, NEFT, or cash as agreed. Payment is confirmed in your presence before the gold is accepted.

4. Pricing & Market Rates

All gold prices quoted by Auriksha are based on the live MCX (Multi Commodity Exchange) market rate at the time of the transaction. Gold prices fluctuate throughout the day. Any quote provided verbally, via WhatsApp, or through our website is indicative only and is subject to the live MCX rate at the time of the actual transaction.

Auriksha does not guarantee that the rate at the time of your visit will match any previously communicated rate. We recommend checking our live gold price page before visiting.

5. Legal Compliance & Anti-Money Laundering

Auriksha operates in full compliance with all applicable Indian laws including:

• Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA)
• Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines on gold transactions
• Income Tax Act provisions relating to high-value transactions
• Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) hallmarking regulations

We are legally required to report suspicious transactions to the relevant authorities. We collect and retain KYC documentation for a minimum of 5 years as required by law. Any attempt to sell stolen gold or to provide false identity documents is a criminal offence and will be reported to the police immediately.

6. Home Visit Service

Auriksha offers a free home visit service across Durgapur and West Bengal. The following terms apply to home visits:

• Home visits are scheduled by appointment only — call or WhatsApp +91-9641827001 to book
• Our representative will carry photo ID and uniform for verification
• You are not obligated to sell your gold after a home visit evaluation
• Auriksha is not liable for any security incidents at the customer's premises that are beyond our reasonable control
• Home visits are available during business hours: Monday to Saturday, 9am to 8pm

7. Website Use

By using auriksha.com you agree to:

• Use the website only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to hack, scrape, or disrupt the website
• Not submit false or misleading information through our contact form
